Tendminute support
Keep your place.
Start with one task. Leave a next step when you pause. Come back knowing where to begin.
Pre-release guide. Tendminute is still being tested and is not yet available on the App Store.
Make apps available again
Open Settings → Release all app restrictions in Tendminute. This pauses your current session and keeps its saved next step.
If you see a cleanup warning, choose Retry restriction cleanup. Check that the warning clears. Other iPhone Screen Time limits may still apply.
To prevent later scheduled blocks, also turn off automatic blocking.
Your first session
- Write one thing you want to do and choose a duration.
- Tap Begin. You can use the timer without Screen Time access.
- When you need a break, choose I need to step away. Write a short next step and save your pause.
- Choose I’m ready to return when you are ready, or end the session and keep the time you completed.
Paused time does not count toward your session. Timer minutes are elapsed session time, not a measurement of attention.
Find your saved progress
Does closing the app erase my notes?
No. Saved sessions, notes and routines stay on this iPhone. An unsaved draft can be lost: if a storage warning appears, keep the app open and retry saving or export a backup before closing.
How do I keep a separate backup?
Open Settings → Your data → Export session backup and choose a private destination. The file includes your task text and notes. Importing replaces the current workspace and preserves a local recovery copy; it does not merge histories.
What if a saved file will not open?
In Storage recovery, try opening it again, restore a previous snapshot, or import a backup. Export recoverable work first if that option is available. Restriction cleanup is a separate action and can be retried even while storage needs attention.
What about an account and cloud backup?
Apple and Google sign-in with optional cloud backup are being prepared. They are not connected in the current development build. Guest use and local backups remain available.
Routines and reminders
In Your week, choose the days, time, duration and time zone for a routine. Enable its reminder if you want one. Opening a reminder shows the routine; it does not start a session automatically.
If reminders are disabled, review Tendminute’s notification permission in iPhone Settings. iOS controls delivery and can delay or silence a reminder.
